Day 12 of #ridingeverydayinNovember

We are getting our first real rain of the month today.  Still not much, only 0.16" would fall today, adding to the 0.02" that fell during the night on the 10th for a total of 0.18" for the entire month, on what is normally our area's wettest month.

But it was raining when I took off.  I haven't had the rain bike out in many many months, and all my wet weather riding clothes (and clip on rear fender!) so I went for the minimum distance today.  Nothing quite as wet as riding a fenderless bike. (my mountain bike throws more water up at me, but let's not get into that right now)

It did not rain continuously, but the roads were wet and the tires were making sure that I was getting soaked. There was a silver lining though.  The fall colors were still putting on a show.
