It began raining last night just as it was getting dark, and rained throughout the night. It was still raining this morning, and is predicted to continue raining in varying intensity through Sunday. Looks like it's time to get the rain bike back in the rotation. Luckily, there was a brief respite in the rainfall late this morning. I took the carbon bike out for a little spin, to fulfill my duty to ride every day in April. I took the carbon bike up and down a hill to fulfill my duty to train for some big rides this season.
As it ends up, riding down Queen Anne on 3rd Ave W and coming back up "The Kralik Way" 3 times is 10.1 miles with 1049 ft of climbing. That's a nice round number (almost) and a nice ride!
Now time to get the rain bike.
