This afternoon I hauled the fixie up north. The temperature was about the same as it was in Portland, but there were a few clouds. They did not impact the view of Mt Rainier, as the locals would say, "the mountain was out".
I started out towards a place referred to by locals as "The Outer Island". The Outer Island has a gravel path around it and it was a bit dicey on my narrow tires, but I survived.
If I had a real camera along, preferably with a polarizing filter, this would have been a good photo. It was still worth stopping for.
It was fun, but I really should have biked more. These sunny November days can't last. On the plus side, I've now biked more miles in November than in any other month this year.
