Day 10 of #ridingeverydayinNovember

1/3 of the way through #ridingeverydayinNovember, Yipee!

Today was blue sky and dry, though some clouds to the SE still kept "The Mountain" obscured.   I loaded up the bike and drove to the Sumner Link Trailhead.  First I tootled around on the paths that are part of the abandoned Sumner Meadows golf course.

I then entered the Sumner Link Trail and rode south.  This trail follows the White River for much of the distance.  The White River has an interesting history including emptying both into Elliot Bay in Seattle, and Commencement Bay in Tacoma, depending on which year you are looking at, and who's lawsuit was successful.

The leaves are really beginning to fall now that the weather is cooling at night, and the wind rustles the leaves.

Somewhere there is a path here!

  I continued to ride south. There were several signs along the trail.  Many were difficult to read after vandalism and weather.  This one still was in good shape.

 I think I intersected the Foothills Trail, but not being from the area, and not seeing any signs, I can only guess at this point.
