A few of us gathered to ride Rocky Butte hill repeats again tonight. I had to work late and was 10 minutes late to the ride. I just couldn't get my head around riding hard, but I did pedal up and down that hill a few times. It seemed to be contagious, at least one other rider mentioned having the same feeling. There were five of us riding in the light rain showers tonight. I expected worse, and had brought the fendered "rain" bike.

More than the rain, the cold was an issue. I was warm enough, but my riding partners were quite cold. All of us got cold at the end of the ride when we were discussing the options for a post ride snack. Tonight it was decided that we all had too many things to get done yet tonight.......... and one of those things was to get into some warm, dry, clothes!
