Wednesday night is interval night for my social bike group. I haven't been able to attend many of these owing to a work schedule. Tonight I had no conflicts so I arrived early, to find the ride leader there early as well, on a brand new Fuji bike!
I accompanied him on a preride.
We were back to the starting location to lead the rest of the group out.
It was a good ride. I was able to hold a 24 mph pace for nearly 5 miles as I pedaled back from Butteville to Boones Ferry landing at the end of our preride. During our intervals I never dropped below 22 mph. Not bad for an old slow guy.
Tomorrow is Rocky Butte again.. I plan to get a lap of Portland's 40 mile loop in before the hill repeats begin.
