back on the Butte

After missing both Tuesday and Thursday Rocky Butte rides last week I managed to make it tonight.
It was raining most of the day, and happened to be raining hard when I got off work.
I put on a long sleeved jersey, long winter pants, my goretex rain gear..........and brought the rain bike.

7 folks showed up, not bad for a windy night, that was supposed to be wet as well. I managed to get 6 repeats, plus about 100 yds before the 90 minute time limit expired. Not bad for riding the rain bike.

Dan D often starts early and leaves early and tonight he had already left by the time Jon D took this photo as we were swapping stories and deciding where we were going to go for post ride refreshment.

It was a good night, didn't even get a single drop of rain.
