Well, here it is April. Obviously I didn't make the 1000 mile mark for March. It was within easy reach but my head just wasn't there. Yesterday was even nice enough weather, just couldn't seem to get on the bike. Oh well, no prizes for riding 1000 miles.
We start a new month today. I joined Luis today for a ride from Hillsboro up to Skyline and around the countryside a bit.
Luis is a good guy and has been helping get bike newbies out on the road. Consequently his biking fitness has suffered. It's real hard to get in decent training when you are riding 10 mph. Today I was in play mode and just climbing these hills pretty much without notice while riding with Luis. He was working pretty hard.
He'll get back in shape, but for today he was suffering.
