Riding on the Oregon Coast ......and

I rode from near Pacific City today and rode a modified "Three Capes Scenic Tour" It was a bit grey at the start this morning, even some light mist from time to time, but no rain. It gradually cleared as I rode and ended up being quite nice. Probably in the 70's when I finished. Back to the 90's in the Willamette Valley now!

There are so many beautiful places in Oregon, The Gorge, High Desert, Cascades, and the coast are just a few of the gorgeous places where you could take hundreds of photos and still not capture it all.

Here's a few of my efforts today to capture a bit of it.

The Pacific City area has sand dunes. The first shows the area where ATV's may operate.

And this one showing an area closed to entry, preserving it's natural state.

The spit that separates Netarts Bay from the Pacific Ocean

Often the route takes you through Oregon's coastal forest.

Along Tillamook Bay

64 miles and some decent climbs over the capes.

EVENING UPDATE:

Brother-in-law Dave, his youngest Elise, and I went out for an early evening ride. Just a short 8 miles, but at a pretty good pace (just don't let Elise know that I said so!)
