rudderless

I couldn't get my game face on today.  I got into bike clothes, then kept finding other chores.  Finally just before noon I loaded my bike and drove to Portland to meet a friend for lunch and to talk bike politics. Following the lunch and chat we rode to North Portland where my friend had an appointment. I kept riding and made my way to Heron Lakes Golf Course where I accessed the 40 mile loop route and pedaled part of that.  I had a good tailwind as I rode along Marine Drive, never dropping below 24 mph from the Interstate Bridge to the Glen Jackson Bridge. :-)

Low miles today, not what I need to be doing, but at least I got some miles in.
