More fun than we should be allowed to have!

Another rendition of our twice weekly hill repeats on Rocky Butte tonight. It was a perfect evening for this ride, not too hot, not too cold, not too wet... just perfect. We had a good turnout. One started early, and a few couldn't make the 6PM start time, but a total of 13 riders eventually were on the course. Here's those that were ready for the pre ride photo.


My carbon bike is down for repairs right now so I took my Marin out. It has been stripped down to basic bike in anticipation of selling it, but it still went up and down the hill like a champ. ....flat pedals and all!

We say we ride to the top of Rocky Butte, which is not quite correct. We ride to the top of the road but to get to the summit of this little hill would require a short walk up some stairs. I didn't walk up the stairs, but did take a photo of them!


We all have been commenting on how much fun we have been having doing this little hill climbing workout. Who would have known that working this hard could be so much fun? ;-)

Maybe it has something to do with our usual post ride debriefing!
