I rode Portland's Ride of Silence tonight. Having been hit by a car while cycling this event holds special meaning for me. That, and that little stubborn streak that get's really irate when I see vehicle drivers not held accountable when their error or inattention causes a cyclist or other non-vehicular road user to be injured or lose their life.
We had nice weather for our ride tonight. A smaller crowd than hoped for, but probably about as many as participated last year. (maybe 100 people or so)
