Buckwheat

I rode with a small group on a ride that included a stop near the end to catch a live performance by the father and son group "Buckwheat"

and drat, the video I took with my camera is nearly twice too large to post here. :-(

Along with some warm soup, hot chocolate, a chocolate chip cookie, and a sandwich, the bluegrass tunes were just what we needed! ;-)

The ride itself was just over 30 miles but I commuted to the ride which started in Scholls Heights from Wilsonville adding a few miles.

Today's forecast called for an 80% chance of rain. Yup, today it did just that. It rained lightly from when I got on the road at 8:30AM until nearly 3pm as we were sitting in the South Store Cafe listening to Buckwheat. At least it wasn't cold.

4 of us made the trip today on bike, our ride leader met us at the South Store since he's still recuperating from ACL replacement. Another cyclist also met us at the store, but she's "with the band". :-)

(Paul and John)

(Carol and Jetta)

(The Desert Coyote and Dave)

The music ended at 3PM, the rain had ceased just a bit earlier. We had dry weather and a dry road for the return trip.

Not a bad day at all.
