There is something really good about July in Oregon. Long daylight hours coupled with nice weather and scenery make riding a joy.
Here's a tall trestle for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe line over Dick road. Being from a long line of local Oregon natives stretching back more than 100 years I knew Matilda Dick, and her son Oliver. Both now deceased but their name lives on as a name on a road that passes their farmstead.
Though only a few short miles from bustling suburbia the urban growth boundary has so far saved this area from urban sprawl. How long it can be preserved is a good question that we all need to answer.
(along Phillips Rd)
It's a nice route that I don't seem to have time to ride often enough.
