I have some business to attend to in Salem so I had to cut my ride short. I did manage to get in 20 miles, including this little loop through one of the nicer neighborhoods around here:
(people who say cyclists shouldn't use MP3 players so they can hear traffic coming have never heard the wind rushing through a helmet .......or past a mic.... at 20mph!)
Most of the ride today was on 4 lane roads with smooth pavement and wide bike lanes.
Time of day lent itself to low traffic volume.
The weather was perfect!
