A few weeks ago a Tri-Met bus collided with a pedestrian in a crosswalk near Lloyd Center. I emailed the Oregonian reporter who originally filed the report asking if the police had finished their investigation yet or if a citation had been issued. I have not received a reply yet.
Monday night a Tri-Met bus collision killed a 15 yr old male as he rode his bike near the intersection of Murray and Farmington Rds.
Facts in that case are not being released pending police investigation.
UPDATE 5:30PM : The police investigation is going slowly. Read the Oregonian update here.
Justice moves slowly.............. and in the case of Brett Jarolimek didn't move at all.
Hopefully the excuse of "I didn't know the cyclist was there" has run it's course and no longer holds up.
