Going the wrong way!

I really need to be riding hard and long right now but can't seem to get it done. I had hoped to get on the bike early before other details got in the way. Before I accomplished that I got sidetracked on non-riding Furnace Creek preparations. I justified it by thinking, "no problem, I can start at 10 AM and still get some miles in". That changed to starting at noon, then middle of the afternoon. Finally at 5 PM after picking up the rebearinged Zipps I went out for a short test ride. I got 11 miles in before having to get cleaned up for a social bike club gathering at REI to attend a seminar on winter riding.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon. That just might provide the impetus to get on the bike earlier in the day!
