Yesterday while the bike was in the shop the tech had some questions on whether a bad sound was coming from the rear hub or the bottom bracket. With two sets of wheels it was an easy thing to track down. This morning I swapped out the Zipps (and the accompanying carbon friendly brake shoes) and replaced them with the stock Ksyrium Equipe's. I went for a ride in the Helvetia area looking for some good ascents to test the bike under pressure. I found them!
I also brought the Zipp 404's into my local bike shop to have new bearings put in them. :-(
