not quite fast enough

I led the Rocky Butte hill repeats again tonight. Only one other rider this evening. My fellow rider is a regular and has noticed improvement over the weeks we've been riding. We are getting faster, but not fast enough to beat the ever shorter daylight. The sun set within 15 minutes of us finishing the ride tonight. Before too long I'll have to move the finish time of the ride up to avoid descending that hill in the dark.

It was a good evening, make that a great evening for a ride. Not overly warm, though it was in the upper 80's. I was to have 2 other riders tonight but one was a no show. On the bright side, the one who showed up was good company to ride with. ;-)
