The days are numbered

A friend and I were planning a Friday evening bike ride because the weather is supposed to be just superb. She said it may be our last dry weekend. I told her that our nice days are numbered, I just don't know what the number is.

Whatever our number of nice days is, you can subtract one from it now. I had a great night on the bike. I rode a 25 mile loop that I began riding last winter when I needed miles and it was going to be dark (and likely rainy too!) Tonight was warm and dry.



It started out daylight, with about an hour of riding before the sun set. I had my Light and Motion "Stella 300" light along, as well as my "always on the bike" Planet Bike 1 watt front blinkie, and two Planet Bike Super Flash red blinkies on the back. Along with copious reflective material I was a veritable Christmas tree. I was ready for the darkness.

I made two laps, good for 50 miles, and self determined to be good enough for tonight. ;-)
