Another superb Oregon evening

Another Thursday, another Rocky Butte hill repeat ride, and another great summer evening. I commuted in from Oaks Park, giving me 12 miles of warm up. There were 4 of us, a smaller group than normal. It was quite warm, in the mid 90's when we started, but we plodded along anyway. After the ride 3 of us went to Cha-cha-cha's for a little post ride snacking. Since I rode to the ride I rode to the post ride "debriefing" as well.

Following the "quatro pollo taquitos" I rode back to Rocky Butte then traced my inbound commute back to Oaks Park. I pulled into Oaks Park with just under 48 miles. The temperature was now 80 degrees, there was no noticeable wind, I had good lights along...... yup, I turned around and rode a couple of bonus miles. ;-)

I won't be able to ride Saturday since I will be attending a niece's wedding. If I'm going to get my thousand mile month it looks like I will be riding 102 miles on Sunday. Wonder where I should ride?
