On our way to ride bike!

We are on our way to preview part of the Race Across Oregon route. We will drive much of it, and plan to ride about 113 miles of which 93 will be on the RAO route.

I picked up J Michael and we drove to Government Camp on Mt Hood where Cary joined us.
We had a bite to eat at a brewpub and here are the lads toasting to our success.

Our plan is to drive to near Service Creek and camp along the John Day river, about 1/2 hour from our bike starting point of Kimberly, Oregon. One of the team had some time constraint issues and we got a late start so we didn't make it to Service Creek until just before midnight. It didn't take long for any of us to fall asleep.

April totals finally tabulated......... looks like the snow and rain won out way too many times. I'm going backward!
