A new month, still the same story

Unlike the last month that I started out riding, but ended up not riding so much, this month I start out not riding so much.  It was a nice day but the morning was spent frittering away time.  Late afternoon I had a video conference call with the Race Across the West team. (solo racer and support crew)

In between the frittering and the conferencing, I hopped on the fixed gear bike to return a book on walking tours of San Francisco to the library.  Julie decided to join me. We got the book returned and rode a quick loop around the top of Queen Anne.

We beat the predicted rain by many hours, and made it back nearly 30 minutes before the video conference call was to start.  Too bad I couldn't get my rear in gear earlier in the day.
