Rain

I got off work a few hours early today. Wish I would have known that in advance, could have had something planned. It was a reasonably nice day, cool but dry. I decided to go for a bike ride. I got lost on Facebook for a bit and when I finally stepped out to ride there were just a few drips of rain falling. The forecast was for rain by evening. I decided to take the rain bike!

Good thing I did. I rode down to Salem and back, pushing a bit of headwind on the way down but enjoying a tailwind on the way back. For those who've never experienced it, I'm here to tell you that rain at your back is better than rain in your face!

All in all, a good ride despite the rain. I finished up well after sundown, dark in fact, but had planned on a longer ride and brought the "good light" along.
