Joy Ride

A friend and I made a trip to Salem tonight to attend a virtual ride on stationary bikes through Napa Valley wine country (got that???) then stayed around for wine, snacks, and bike talk. I'm not a normally a big fan of anything less than real bikes on real roads, but this was fun! If you ever find yourself in Salem check out JoyRide's calendar and catch a ride.

I rode relatively hard for the 70 minute session. Hard enough that I'm going to award myself 20 miles for the effort. If I were on a real bike I would have gone at least that far in 70 minutes at that effort.

On the drive back northward my friend and I noted the beautiful weather for a night ride. 62 degrees, no wind, dry. We should have been riding, but alas, no bikes with us.
