More Beach Fun

We are still at Ft Stevens on the northern Oregon coast.  The weather has been great.  The clam digging is still closed, and likely will be for the rest of the season. Today was another short ride, squeezed between kite flying and fishing, but still fun.

 Julie lives in Seattle, where rides often have a mid way stop at a bakery.  I did my best to accommodate, but it appears I was about 71 years too late.

Near the end of today's ride we took a 2 mile spin down the hard packed sand.  It was a bit softer than asphalt but wasn't all the bad.  We were sure to wash the bikes up after the ride!
