Luis and I rode from US 26/Cornelius Pass Rd today up to Skyline via Logie Trail and on out to Rocky Point Rd. Our return was via Rock Creek Rd and Old Cornelius Pass/Phillips Rd. What a beautiful day! The east wind in Portland has blown all the yuck out of the air and it's absolutely clear. The snow capped Washington volcanoes were resplendent in today's sunshine.
The digital camera doesn't do the scene justice, it was just an awesome view today. We logged a fun 31 miles. Luis had other commitments, I had lunch!
After lunch I decided that while the weather was so nice and I still had my biking clothes on I should just ride more.
I rode a modified Snoozeville Populaire route . I am not fond of out and backs and especially don't care for the out and back to Fern Flat so I skipped that. Far enough west that the east winds that made it so clear weren't a big factor. A beautiful day for a ride!
