The dog days of summer

Okay, so it's Autumn, but tonight seemed like it might be the last good chance to ride in summer like weather for awhile. The forecast calls for a big change in the weather with copious rain and wind by the weekend.

A few of us took advantage of the 70 degree evening and rode out from Tualatin just after 5PM tonight.

Max also joined us but was a few minutes late and missed our pre-ride photo.

It was a beautiful evening for a ride. We moved quickly, knowing that darkness would soon envelop us. We rode out to near Wilsonville and climbed Pete's Mtn from the Hebb Park side then rolled back into Tualatin. We rode the last 5 miles or so in the dark, but we all had good lights and excellent reflectivity.

We finished up the evening with cold adult beverages and some food at a local establishment.

A good evening, one to remember as the weather begins to turn the corner.
