I started out from Sellwood Riverside Park and rode to Vancouver WA where today's group ride started. Typical fall weather, it was a bit cool as I pedaled out at shortly after 8AM. Cam, A gal that was also looking for bonus miles, joined me. She is a pretty decent rider. We held the high teens all the way to downtown Portland, then slowed a bit because of congestion, and the knowledge that we were going to arrive at the meeting point way too early.
We arrived about 40 minutes before the ride was to leave, but a few others were already there, so we joined in a little preride social time.
The time arrived to pedal, and 10 of us shoved off.
I shared sweep duty.
We had a nice route along roads and trails.
If the forecast is correct, this may be our last dry day for awhile, we intended to enjoy it!

After a reload of calories, I pedaled back to Sellwood.
