We pedaled out shortly before 9AM. We made our way down to the False Creek waterfront and got on a path that wandered along the water's edge.

We tootled around Granville Island a bit. I visited there often 20+ years ago. It was interesting to see how much it had changed, and how much it had stayed the same!

It was a beautiful day. We were sad to be leaving so soon and both wished that we had an extra day or two to look around. We found Vancouver to be very bicycle friendly, with bike greenways like Portland and well marked bike routes. It had much smoother road surfaces than Seattle.
When we got back to Seattle Dave rode to South Lake Union and met his daughter where he'd grace her with his presence for dinner (again!). I rode 4 miles back up Queen Anne.
