Thinking of a long ride that started today along the beach.

The beach in question would be Oceanside, California.
The long ride would be Race Across America.

This afternoon I brought my bike to Rocky Butte in preparation of the hill repeats tonight.  I had some free time so did a little preride out to Multnomah Falls.  There were a few rain showers around, but I was lucky and missed them.  One of the showers hit Rocky Butte about 30 minutes before our hill repeat ride started but that ride too was dry. 8 of the 11 RSVP'd  showed up, and we all had a good time! 3 of us extended the evening by going for a little "carbo reloading" session.
